  1. Low-dimensional electron systems. Collective excitations and transport in strongly correlated low-dimensional electron systems in the presence of external fields, quantum Hall effect, 2D charged systems on helium surface.
  2. Spintronics: role of spin-orbital interaction in physics of low-dimensional systems, problems of spin-orbital electron transport.
  3. Superconductor hybrid mesoscopic and nanostructures, Josephson and quasi-particle currents, bound states. Disordered systems and superconductivity. Magnetic compounds and other strongly correlated electron systems, their coexistence and competition with superconductivity.
  4. Nanostructures, clusters: single and multi-electron drops, polaron clusters in quantum liquids; proton ordering in bulk and at ice interface and its effect on adhesion and friction of ice.
