The study, analysis and computer simulating of the diffraction
contrast of crystal structure defects are carried out in the laboratory. The
new X-ray optical diffraction effects (diffraction focusing of X-ray Bloch
waves on perfect crystals; dynamic diffraction focusing on bent crystals;
guide wave effect and channeling effect, X-ray interferometry in
continuous spectral radiation) have been detected and investigated.
The investigations of short-wave radiation scattering in the short-range
diffraction field are carried out. The schemes of focusing X-ray optical
elements are proposed. Diffraction peculiarities in disordered quasicrystals
are investigated. The software package was worked out to interpret and
simulate diffraction images obtained by Laue, Debye, pendulum and
widely divergent beam methods [21-26].
