The real structure of refractory metal single crystals (Mo, W, Nb) arising in the process of the thermal-mechanical treatment is investigated. Technology of the preparation of the Nb, Mo, W single crystal ribbons and foils was worked out, it was revealed that the single crystal ribbons and foils obtained by rolling did not crystallise after annealing at temperatures higher than 0.8Tm. The single crystals with the [110] growth axis orientation were rolled with total squeezing up to 95%, in this case the change of the initial orientation of crystals were not observed.

The structure evolution of rolled and annealed Nb, Mo, W single crystals has some peculiarities with specific substructure elements which are general for all studied metals [27,28].
